A serial entrepreneur, Steve asked Ben to consult on a line of specialty trailer-based equipment he was launching for another outdoor-based lifestyle business in the US market.
And they realized they had very complementary skill sets.
Engineering Plus Distribution and Business Development
Ben already knew how to provide the best pressure washing equipment.
Steve knew how to manage assembly lines and distribution.
He’d also successfully launched numerous local market-style businesses and could provide the marketing resources and training.
Pressure West Was Born
The “aha moment” came quickly. The two of them could produce the best heated pressure washing trailer on the market from Steve’s facility and ship them across the country.
They could also provide other form factors for pressure washing pros everywhere.
Teaching proper care of equipment would be a no-brainer.
Providing the same marketing support they used themselves to pressure washing pros across the country who just need to know how to get clients would push the whole industry forward.
And they could warehouse all the critical parts needed to keep pros going strong via overnight shipping.
…And then Ben could keep building all the awesome stuff he always had from a much bigger facility.
